Job Summary:
Netpace Inc is seeking a Full Time Contractor Software Engineer to join their advanced development team in Framingham, MA. The role involves contributing to the architecture design of containerization and orchestration of storage, and requires expertise in software defined storage and programming languages such as Go, C, and Python.
Responsibilities:
• Contributing to architecture design of containerization and orchestration of Huawei storage.
• Provide insight into technical trends in SDS (software defined storage).
• Responsible for implementation of complex SDS configurations.
• Write software in Go, C, python, C++ that integrates storage software with Kubernetes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• BS in Computer Science with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the storage industry
• Experience with medium to large scale container deployments
• Familiar with orchestration software (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift, Mesos)
• Familiar with programming languages: Go/ Java/ C/ C++
• Experience developing on clouds: Google, Azure, Amazon
• Familiar with CI/CD tools and processes
• Open source tools and frameworks
• Energetic, open minded, great communicator
