**CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)
Position: Software Developer (.NET/C#) โ€“ NAVSUP Programs
Overview: ITC Defense is seeking a Software Developer (.NET/C#) to support NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia, PA. This position supports the design, development, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of mission-critical Navy applications used to support logistics and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will work closely with government stakeholders, software engineers, analysts, and testers to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions supporting the Navy Community.
Responsibilities:
Software Development
  • Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications supporting NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support.
  • Develop enhancements and new capabilities for WebRoR, EFTS, SCIP, and other Navy Community applications.
  • Develop object-oriented software using C#, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, and REST APIs.
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
System Design & Integration
  • Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to define software requirements.
  • Develop system context models, technical designs, and interface specifications.
  • Design database structures, tables, triggers, and APIs to support application functionality.
  • Integrate applications using APIs, web services, and other enterprise technologies.
Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and regression testing.
  • Resolve software defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure software complies with security, performance, and quality standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and software quality improvement initiatives.
Configuration Management
  • Manage source code using version control systems.
  • Support sprint branching, code merges, and software deployments.
  • Maintain documentation within software development tracking tools.
Customer Support
  • Troubleshoot application issues.
  • Assist with software documentation and user guidance.
  • Support customer requests and enhancement recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain one, if required by the contract
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 0โ€“4 years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience developing applications using:
  • C#
  • ASP.NET
  • MVC
  • SQL Server
  • HTML
  • JavaScript
  • REST APIs/Web Services
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience working with relational databases.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within an Agile software development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Navy, NAVSUP, or other DoD software development programs.
  • Experience supporting Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
  • Experience with software testing methodologies, including regression and integration testing.
  • Experience developing automated or manual test plans.
  • Experience using Agile development methodologies.
  • Experience with VersionOne, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar work management tools.
  • IAT Level II certification (Security+, SSCP, CySA+, GSEC, CND, CCNA Security, or equivalent).
  • Experience developing secure enterprise web applications.
