About the Role
We are looking for an experienced UX/UI Developer with a background in authentication and identity workflows to join a large, complex enterprise organization on a contract basis. You will be part of a team building a next-generation, centralized authentication platform from the ground up, owning all user-facing login and identity flows across web, Android, and iOS. This role is well-suited for someone accustomed to the governance and change management demands of a large global organization, and who understands the unique UX and security requirements of authentication surfaces. Experience in banking/financial services or other highly regulated industries is a big plus.
Key Responsibilities
โ€ขย ย  ย Design and build user-facing authentication components including login pages, multi-factor authentication flows, and account recovery experiences across web, Android, and iOS
โ€ขย ย  ย Develop and maintain SDKs and UI libraries that integrate with underlying identity vendor services (Transmit, Ping, Arcus Labs, ThreatMetrix, and others)
โ€ขย ย  ย Contribute to the identity Abstraction Layer, a vendor-agnostic library that decouples application teams from specific identity vendor SDKs
โ€ขย ย  ย Collaborate with identity architects, backend API teams, and security engineers to ensure UI implementations align with authentication protocols and security requirements
โ€ขย ย  ย Implement passkey and passwordless flows using FIDO2/WebAuthn standards
โ€ขย ย  ย Build with forward compatibility in mind to support credential consolidation across multiple products and business lines over time
โ€ขย ย  ย Maintain documentation for components, integration guides, and change requests in alignment with enterprise change management policies
โ€ขย ย  ย Support testing, accessibility compliance, and performance optimization across all platforms
Required Qualifications
โ€ขย ย  ย 4+ years of experience in front-end or mobile UI development
