Summary of Position

The Radiology Technologist (RT) is responsible for performing radiological tests and film exposures, for providing OSHA guidelines and surveillance, for compliance with ODH (Ohio Department of Health), and if applicable, the ACR (American College of Radiology).

Nature and Scope

The Radiology Technologist discretely handles a high volume of confidential, sensitive and personal information on a daily basis. The person ensures that priorities are met, delays are minimized, and resources are used to accomplish all tasks efficiently.

 
Qualifications - External

Qualifications

1.    A high school diploma or GED required.

2.    Graduate of an accredited course for radiographic technology.

3.    Must be licensed in the State of Ohio and must maintain CPR certification.

4.    Must be an independent thinker and be self-motivated to achieve the highest patient care and customer service standards.

5.    It is preferred that the individual have extensive documented experience in a physician office or hospital.
