Job description

As a Rack Installer your responsibility include:
Working with forklifts/lifts to load and unload racking equipment from long bed truck
Reading and understanding project blueprints, working with the foreman to learn the proper installation techniques and specifications, using power drills/impacts and hand tools to torque down the racking, measuring the distances between racks to ensure proper installation, working efficiently to meet the daily goals.
Qualifications
Basic skills and knowledge of mechanical and module installation; no experience needed to start
Proficient in Construction Site Safety (OSHA 10)
Able to take and follow instructions and/or direction from foreman and supervisors.
Proven commitment to safety and teamwork
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
Self-motivated with the ability to work with others.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Ability to communicate orally with management and other co-workers.
Ability to work outside in hot and cold weather.
Hearing and vision within normal ranges is helpful for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information, and to read plans/documents.
Heavy lifting of 50-60 pounds is required. Exertion of up to 75 lbs. of force occasionally may be required.
Good manual dexterity for the use of common mechanical tools.
Physical Demands
Activities include extended periods of standing, kneeling, lifting, work in cold/warm conditions. Must be able to access equipment and project site. Work environment may change from day to day depending on projects and tasks being accomplished. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required including hardhat, gloves, safety glasses, hearing and foot protection. May be required to travel and/or work out-of-town for extended periods of time.
