Job Description:
Music Teacher/Instructor will prepare and implement a teaching plan. The plan will be fundamental to providing knowledge and instruction while also helping students develop their love of music.
Independent Contractor Duties & Responsibilities:
- The Music Teacher/Instructor will work 4-5 hours per week, flexible schedule
- Provide music instruction (guitar, basic piano, drums, cymbals and/or other percussion instruments) to students between the ages of 12 -17
- Present lesson in a comprehensive manner
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment
- Teach proper technique
- Proof of Immunizations:
- 2 doses- Varicella
- 2 doses- MMR
- 1 dose- Tdap within the past 10 years
- 1 dose- Influenza during flu season, (August/September through June)
- Yearly requirement of Influenza and TB testing
Qualifications Required:
- Strong music background
- Minimum of 1 year working with youth
- Ability to pass an extensive background screening process
Pay Rate: $30 per hour
