Classification & Benefits

Independent Contractor (1099)

This position does not include health insurance or employee benefits

The LPN functions independently within their licensed scope of practice

Primary Responsibilities The LPN is responsible for delivering skilled nursing services in accordance with the client’s individualized care plan, physician orders, and all applicable regulatory and professional standards. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Monitoring the client’s medical condition and overall health status

Medication administration and medication management

Monitoring and documenting vital signs and clinical observations

Providing care for a bedridden client, including repositioning and skin integrity monitoring to prevent pressure injuries

Assisting with medical equipment, treatments, and infection control procedures

Promptly communicating any changes in condition to the supervising Registered Nurse and/or physician

Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant nursing documentation

Professional Expectations

Ability to work independently while adhering to established care plans and clinical protocols

Strong clinical judgment, reliability, and attention to detail

Commitment to maintaining client safety, dignity, and quality of care
