Role Description As an Independent Courier (1099 Contractor) at Pro Med EXpress Couriers, you will be responsible for picking up, transporting, and delivering packages, documents, and other items in and around East Hartford, CT. This is a per diem, on-site role that involves following assigned routes, adhering to schedules, and maintaining clear communication with dispatch and clients. Day-to-day tasks include verifying delivery details, securing items properly, obtaining required signatures or confirmations, and documenting deliveries using mobile or handheld devices. You will also be expected to maintain a clean, reliable vehicle, comply with safety and transportation regulations, and provide courteous, professional service at each stop.
