Bilingual Customer Care Specialist (Hindi-Speaking)

Pay: $19.00 per hour

As our Bilingual Customer Care Specialist, you'll be one of the first people our families connect with when they have questions about enrollment, billing, or our programs. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys helping others, stays calm under pressure, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are exactly alike.
This is a fully remote position supporting families across multiple states. Candidates must reside in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, or Washington, DC, and be fluent in both English and Hindi; Gujarati, Punjabi, Telugu, or Spanish is a plus.
Schedule
This is a 30-hour per week position.
Monday-Friday
  • 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern
What You will Do:
As a Customer Care Specialist, you'll serve as a trusted resource for families by providing exceptional customer service and helping ensure a smooth experience from registration through ongoing program participation.
Responsibilities include:
  • Answer incoming phone calls from families and prospective customers
  • Respond to emails, text messages, and customer inquiries in both English and Hindi
  • Assist families with program registration and enrollment
  • Support customers with billing questions, payments, account updates, credits, and invoices
  • Maintain accurate customer records and detailed account notes
  • Make outbound follow-up calls regarding registrations, payments, and account questions
  • Process and manage state childcare subsidy documentation, vouchers, attendance reporting, payment collection, and account follow-up
  • Document and report technical issues when needed
  • Navigate multiple web-based systems including RingCentral, Leading Edge Connect (Line Leader) & Google Workspace
  • Deliver compassionate, professional, and solution-focused customer service during every interaction
  • Collaborate with teammates while successfully managing responsibilities independently
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in both English and Hindi
  • At least one year of call center or high-volume customer service experience
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday remotely during scheduled hours
  • Strong computer skills and confidence learning new technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer-first mindset
  • Strong problem-solving and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
This position reports directly to the Head of Family Services.
