Position Overview

Lucia Landscaping and its sister companies, Lakeside Pro Services and OneTeam365, are seeking a creative and motivated Marketing Intern to support our marketing and brand initiatives. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, brand development, and event coordination within a fast-growing service organization.

The Marketing Intern will assist with developing marketing content, supporting social media efforts, helping manage digital platforms, and contributing to marketing campaigns that promote our services, culture, and career opportunities. This role offers valuable exposure to real-world marketing strategies while working alongside an experienced marketing and leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and executing marketing initiatives that support company branding, customer engagement, and talent attraction
  • Support the creation and organization of the company’s marketing calendar and seasonal marketing initiatives
  • Help create and organize marketing content for social media, newsletters, website updates, and promotional materials
  • Assist with drafting graphics, marketing materials, promotional items, and internal documents
  • Support the management of the company’s social media platforms, including assisting with content creation and scheduling posts
  • Assist with capturing photos and videos of projects, field operations, training events, and company activities for marketing use
  • Help coordinate and promote company events such as employee trainings, vendor events, and industry expos
  • Assist with website updates and monitoring website content for accuracy and branding consistency
  • Help track and organize marketing performance data using spreadsheets and software tools
  • Provide general marketing and administrative support to the marketing team as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Submission of a portfolio is required. Please include a functional link to your work (such as a personal website, Google Drive folder, Behance profile, or similar) in your application
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and similar channels
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative mindset with an interest in marketing strategy, branding, and content creation
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Provide occasional front-office support by answering phones, directing calls, and assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Lightroom as well as marketing tools such as HubSpot, and/or Canva.
  • Experience creating social media or marketing content for school, organizations, or previous internships
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, Google Ads, or online campaigns
  • Interest in photography, videography, or digital storytelling
  • Interest in pursuing a career in marketing, communications, or brand development
  • We do not expect candidates to have experience in every area listed above. We are looking for someone eager to learn, contribute, and gain hands-on marketing experience.
