Job description

SoloPulse Corp is a dual-use radar company committed to the relentless exploration of the frontiers of radar sensing technology. Located in Atlanta, GA, SoloPulse stands as a venture-backed startup, diligently cultivating strategic collaborations to proactively address critical safety imperatives and emerging autonomy needs across both civilian and military domains. Our distinguished team encompasses accomplished engineers, seasoned advisors, and experienced startup veterans, collectively driven by an overarching mission to change the way the world sees.

SoloPulse is hiring a Product Software/Embedded Engineer to build and ship robust software for vertically integrated units. You'll own the reliability, observability, infrastructure implementation, and fault tolerance that determine how deployed units perform over time, with a focus on low-latency execution on real hardware. You'll have real ownership of your work, the problems are challenging, and your teammates hold themselves to a high standard.

Responsibilities
  • Engineering production embedded software that interfaces directly with hardware (NVIDIA Jetson, SDRs, sensors) and holds up against real-world failure modes
  • Engineering hardened, deterministic, low-latency data pipelines for high-throughput radar/RF data
  • Determining and implementing fleet-grade concerns: secure/OTA updates, logging, telemetry, observability, fault detection, graceful degradation, and recovery
  • Engineering build, test, and release infrastructure: CI/CD for embedded, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and automated regression on target hardware
  • Performing field debug, root-cause analysis, and maintaining traceability across deployed units
  • Engineering security and reliability for constrained and adversarial environments
  • Performing under practical resource budgets: memory, compute, thermal, and power
Key Qualifications
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 6+ years of demonstrated experience shipping production embedded software across real fleets (e.g., >10 deployed units)
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python
  • Embedded and real-time systems experience, with performance tuning under hard constraints
  • Experience with the parts that keep fielded systems alive: update, logging, fault recovery, and test
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance; U.S. person required
Nice-to-have Qualifications
  • NVIDIA CUDA / GPU acceleration; memory-optimized HPC
  • High-bandwidth sensor integration (INS, GNSS, radio, camera)
  • DSP algorithm implementation experience
  • CI/CD and HIL for embedded fleets
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary might vary based on work experience, education, training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in full-time offers. Additionally, SoloPulse Corp offers top-tier benefits for full-time employees, including:
· SoloPulse offers top tier health coverage (medical, dental, vision)
· SoloPulse is closed every other Friday
· Generous company holiday calendar
· Unlimited PTO
· 401(k) retirement savings plan with a 4% company match
· A professional development stipend is available to all SoloPulse employees
· Desk setup stipend for all full-time employees
· Relocation assistance (depending on role eligibility)
Join our team and be part of a dynamic, collaborative environment where innovation and creativity thrive. We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to work on groundbreaking projects that will shape the future of radar technology. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
