About Us:

Gaithersburg Architectural Millwork is a leading provider of custom architectural millwork and casework, serving clients in the commercial sectors. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, attention to detail.


Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Custom Cabinet Maker with experience in architectural millwork to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about woodworking, detail-oriented, and skilled in producing high-quality custom cabinetry from shop drawings.


Key Responsibilities:

•Fabricate custom cabinets, and specialty millwork components according to detailed shop drawings and specifications.

•Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools with precision and care.

•Laminate, edge-band, and assemble parts using dowels, screws, glue, and fasteners.

•Conduct quality checks to ensure fit, finish, and craftsmanship meet company standards.

•Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and installers to solve fabrication challenges.

•Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety policies and procedures.


Requirements:

•3+ years of experience in architectural millwork or custom cabinetmaking.

•Strong knowledge of wood species, laminates, veneers, and cabinet hardware.

•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

•Skilled in the use of standard woodworking tools, equipment, and machinery.
