We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Nurse Practitioner to join our medical hospitalist team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting admission histories and physicals (H&Ps) for patients admitted to an acute care psychiatric facility, as well as providing medical consultations for ongoing basic medical needs (e.g., managing diabetes, hypertension). Our company operates as an independent medical group providing consultative medical services. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position, part-time at approximately 8-10 shifts per month. ## Key Responsibilities - Conduct admission histories and physicals (H&Ps) for patients admitted to an acute care psychiatric facility - Provide medical consultations for ongoing basic medical needs (e.g., managing diabetes, hypertension) - Work independently while knowing when to consult the supervising physician - Manage an average daily census of 12-14 admissions ## Compensation Highly competitive structure designed to reward efficiency: 8-10 shifts per month equates to close to $100,000 annually. With average daily admissions of 12-14, there is significant daily earning potential (e.g., $840-$980+ per shift). Independent Contractor (1099) status with unparalleled 24/7 backup and support from a highly experienced supervising physician. ## Schedule Flexible part-time scheduling with daily rounding required. Currently filling shifts on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (every other week), plus alternating Wednesdays (approximately 8-10 shifts per month).
