2 gals that are livin’ the ‘green’ hair salon dream. Each of us with 25+ years in the local Bay Area hairstyling world. We run our business like we live our lives – down to earth, eco friendly, low/no waste, minimal chemicals. We search for and use the most ethical and eco friendly products available. (Always searching) Our refill retail station is small but mighty and we are passionate about getting rid of single use plastic items. If you can buy it on Amazon, we won’t carry it in our salon. Fighting the man while making the local population look fantastic. Supporting other local/small businesses just like us. Did someone say community hair salon? Yes.

Estb. 2010 – new location as of January 2022. The salon is located in a family friendly & fabulous neighborhood in the Mission. Our neighbors and our landlords are amazing. We love our space and what we do.

You have your own clientele. You are willing to work a flexible schedule. You are clean, organized and responsible. If you are excited about composting, buying all of your goods in the bulk section at the local co-op grocery store and making a conscious effort to tread a little lighter on this planet – or maybe you are just interested in shifting to a less toxic, more eco-friendly way of doing hair, we’d like to meet you and see if you’d be a good fit with us!
