Job description

Information Providers, Inc. (IPI) is seeking self-motivated Independent Contractors to join our network of Insurance Inspectors. If you enjoy working outdoors, managing your own schedule, and have an eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your own inspection business with the support of an industry leader.

What You’ll Do

As a field inspector, you will conduct underwriting surveys to help insurance companies assess property risks. Your primary tasks include:

  • Property Assessments: Evaluating the condition of residential and commercial structures.
  • Data Collection: Measuring dimensions and identifying building materials and potential hazards.
  • Documentation: Capturing high-quality photos of the property.
  • Reporting: Uploading findings via our streamlined, user-friendly internet platform.

  • Ladder: Some of our inspections require a roof inspection. A 16' ladder is required for roof inspections
  • Monopod camera pole: Most inspections require roof photos. If the inspection does not require physically accessing the roof, then at least a 72" or larger monopod camera pole is required.
