Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN or LPN) – Home Care
Location: Fountain Inn, South Carolina
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Schedule: Monday-Thursday – 08:30am-4:00pm
Pay: $28-$30
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Private Duty Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide care to a two-year-old child with complex medical needs and developmental needs. The caregiver will work closely with the child’s parents and healthcare team to ensure safe, attentive, and developmentally appropriate daily care. The is a one on one in home care environment.
Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care and supervision
  • Assist with feedings, including specialized feeding techniques for cleft palate and GERD
  • Monitor the child for signs of discomfort, feeding difficulties, or respiratory issues
  • Support developmental therapies and engage in age-appropriate play
  • Administer medications as directed by parents/healthcare providers
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and calm environment
  • Document daily activities, symptoms, and any notable changes
  • Assist with transport to medical appointments as needed (if applicable)
This is a one-on-one home care position located in a private residence.
Requirements:
  • Current SC RN or LPN license (verified and maintained in good standing)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in public health, hospital, or long-term care
  • Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with individualized patient care plans
  • Conduct assessments, administer medications and treatments, and monitor patient health
  • Licensed RN or LPN in South Carolina (Required)
  • Active or eligible for Medicaid provider enrollment
  • CPR/BLS certification (Required)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
