Industrial Injury Prevention Specialist
Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist Assistant
Full-Time | First Shift | No Weekends | 40 Hours per Week
Are you an Athletic Trainer ready for a more predictable schedule, or a Physical Therapist Assistant interested in using your clinical skills outside of a traditional clinic?
Accelerate Therapy and Performance is seeking a full-time Injury Prevention Specialist to support employees at a warehouse and distribution site. In this role, you will help prevent workplace injuries through education, early intervention, individualized care, and relationship-building.
You will have the autonomy to manage your day while working within established clinical protocols and receiving support from a team of licensed healthcare and fitness professionals.

Responsibilities
What You'll Do
  • Build relationships with employees and become a trusted onsite health and wellness resource
  • Educate employees on body mechanics, movement, ergonomics, and injury-prevention strategies
  • Provide early intervention and individualized care for musculoskeletal concerns
  • Help employees remain healthy, active, and productive at work
  • Promote a culture of safety, collaboration, and proactive wellness
  • Manage daily responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Partner with team members and client leaders to identify and address workplace health trends
  • Document services and follow established clinical protocols

Qualifications
Who We're Looking For
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
  • Certified Athletic Trainer with an active state license and bachelor's degree
  • Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with an associate degree

Candidates must also hold an active CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with orthopedic or musculoskeletal conditions
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities
