  • Answer: Although we ask for a 1- year commitment; at any point in time, yourself or the individual in your home can give KAAUM Enterprises a 1-month notice.

We do this by getting to know you and/or your families lifestyle, goals, daily routines and the level of commitment you are willing to give to an individual. With that information, we seek individuals who we think would "fit right in" to your and/or your family's dynamic and routines.
  • What happens if myself and/or my family wants to take a vacation?
  • Answer: KAAUM Enterprises works with providers to find and obtain Respite Providers who can step in when you need a well-deserved break. It's also important to note that the individual can go with you on your family vacation!

Requirements:

  • Individuals interested must live in Grand Junction or surrounding areas.
  • Individuals must have an available bedroom in their home.
  • Individuals interested must pass a background check(s).
  • Individuals must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Individuals must be willing to become an Independent Contractor.

Person-Centered Plans: Implement and monitor plans tailored to the individual's needs and goals.

Pay: $1,007 - $5,481 per month (plus, the individual would pay a room & board, paid to you on a monthly basis)

  • Crisis Prevention Intervention Certificate (Facilitated and provided by KAAUM Enterprises)
  • Medication Administration Certificate (Facilitated through KAAUM Enterprises)
