Pool Service Technician (Independent Contractor) - Must have or be able to provide own equipment and materials.

CoastCore Home Services is hiring experienced and motivated Pool Service Technicians to provide residential pool cleaning and maintenance services throughout the Tampa Bay area.

If you have experience maintaining swimming pools, balancing water chemistry, cleaning pool equipment, and providing excellent customer service, we'd like to hear from you.

Our team handles customer acquisition, scheduling, billing, customer communication, and administrative support so you can focus on servicing pools and growing your route.

Compensation

• $25–$35 per hour equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance
• Skim debris and clean pool surfaces
• Brush pool walls, tile lines, steps, and water features
• Vacuum pools and remove debris
• Test and balance pool water chemistry
• Add and adjust chlorine, muriatic acid, stabilizer, and other pool chemicals as needed
• Prevent and treat algae outbreaks
• Empty skimmer baskets and pump baskets
• Clean cartridge, sand, and DE filters
• Inspect pool pumps, filters, heaters, chlorinators, salt systems, automation systems, and related equipment
• Identify equipment issues and communicate recommendations
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor maintenance when appropriate
• Document completed services with notes and photos
• Provide professional customer communication
• Follow all safety procedures when handling pool chemicals and equipment

Qualifications Required

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and chemical containers
• Strong attention to detail
• Professional communication skills
• Reliable and punctual

Preferred

• 1+ year of pool cleaning or pool maintenance experience
• Pool Service Technician experience
• Water testing and chemical balancing experience
• Algae treatment and prevention experience
• Pool equipment troubleshooting experience
• Customer service experience
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification
