RapidX is one of the fastest-growing providers of portable X-ray and ultrasound services throughout New York, New Jersey, and Florida.

We are expanding our network of experienced Ultrasound Technologists to provide mobile diagnostic ultrasound services at healthcare facilities throughout Long Island.

This opportunity is ideal for qualified professionals who value autonomy, flexibility, and the ability to manage their own work while providing high-quality patient care.

Scope of Services

Independent contractors will provide mobile diagnostic ultrasound services at assigned healthcare facilities using portable ultrasound equipment.

Services include:

  • Performing physician-ordered diagnostic ultrasound examinations

  • Producing high-quality diagnostic images

  • Maintaining accurate documentation for completed examinations

  • Communicating professionally with facility personnel regarding patient imaging

  • Following applicable HIPAA requirements and professional standards of practice

  • Maintaining ultrasound equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines

Travel between facilities is required. Contractors are responsible for providing a reliable personal vehicle.

Preferred Qualifications
  • ARDMS certification

  • Current New York State credentials, when applicable

  • Mobile or clinical ultrasound experience preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage an independent workload

  • Valid driver's license

  • Reliable personal vehicle

  • Clean driving record

  • Ability to transport portable ultrasound equipment

  • Active ARDMS certification
