Job description

A well-established, premier group practice specializing in Gynecology, Urogynecology, Hormone therapy, and medical aesthetics needs a FNP/WHNP to join. Established in 2004, the practice has grown consistently building its reputation among the general population and the local healthcare community.

With two locations (Arcadia, Glendale) in the most desired Gabriel valley of southern California, our practice offers the right environment for personal and professional growth. Staffed with highly motivated and trained people, equipped with all modern technology (Fully EMR based patient workflows, Ultrasound in every exam room, Urodynamics testing, Laser and RF equipment for Gynecological and aesthetic treatments). The practice is run ultra-efficiently with workflows perfected over decades. Patient care, safety, outcome, staff retention and performance, and financial performance are the practice's main values.

San Gabriel valley is a great place to settle down. Given its year around great weather, access to beaches, mountains, Ski slopes, premier universities and work opportunities it is a sought after place. Establishing your own practice will be very hard here. Our practice can facilitate your transition into a private practice setting with ease.

The practice currently treats benign gynecological and Urogynecological conditions focusing on incontinence, prolapse, and menopause, office based diagnostic and treatment procedures, and Bio Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy.

We cater to the population that has the most need for total wellness as they age. From pelvic floor issues to hormonal symptoms to living a healthy life inside and outside, we offer a niche set of services. We see mostly PPO, reputed HMOs and Medicare.

We will provide comprehensive training to the right candidate with motivation to learn and grow with us for a long time. Fresh NP graduates are encouraged to apply.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complement under the supervision of MD in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of all women patients. This includes among others, Gynecological and Pelvic floor disorder visits, Family planning, well women exam, pre-op, post-op, routine consult, hormone therapy, aesthetical treatments and follow-up,
  • Performs routine health assessments, preventive medicine and consults.
  • Complete documentation in a comprehensive, and timely manner using EMR (eClinicalworks)
  • Order medications, labs and imaging as needed.
  • Review and follow through all lab and radiology results.
  • Make referrals as needed.
  • Reviews and attends to all results from labs and imaging.
  • Performs certain office-based procedures like, colpo, Urodynamics and Aesthetics using Laser and RF systems.
  • Perform additional duties as prescribed by the resident doctor.

Qualifications:

  • WHNP or FNP
  • Current, unrestricted CA NP license
  • Current, unrestricted DEA certificate
  • Work under fast paced environment and practice independently knowing when to escalate and consult with the doctor and/or refer to other specialists.
  • Fully comfortable in working in an all-electronic environment using a state of the art EMR. eClinicalworks experience is a huge plus!!!

This position could either be a part-time or full-time. Excellent opportunity to learn in new areas of Woman's Healthcare and grow with the practice.

  1. Compensation depends on experience. Per-diem, hourly or salaried.
