Job Description
To be successful in this role, you must have experience reviewing, redlining and negotiating a variety of B2B commercial transactions (NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, etc.) on client paper. You must possess exceptional written and oral communication skills coupled with practical decision-making in order to identify and mitigate contractual risk and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This individual in this role will work closely with internal sales and account management customers to develop and draft agreements based on stated business needs, while crafting language which mitigates enterprise risk.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree or degree candidate
  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in drafting, redlining and negotiating B2B commercial contracts (MSAs, NDAs, Subcontractor Agreements, Vendor Agreements, etc).
  • Must be experienced with negotiating both commercial and legal terms
  • Preference for supporting a variety of industries (technology, consulting, marketing, real estate and other services)
  • Familiarity with information technology and management consulting industry specific contract provisions a plus
  • Proven ability to take initiative, and move daily work forward with intellectual curiosity, enthusiasm, and flexibility
  • Attention to detail with a high level of data integrity and accuracy
  • Strong organizational skills necessary to document and track issues from inception to resolution
  • Good judgment in prioritizing and completing tasks, and in seeking guidance when needed
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels both within and outside of the organization
  • Ability to be flexible in communication style and approach
