Job description

Adecco is hiring for a PIT Operator (Powered Industrial Truck) to support warehouse operations focused on safety, efficiency, and process excellence. If you’re experienced on powered industrial equipment and take pride in accurate, fast-paced work, this role offers steady weekday hours and opportunity for growth.

Shift & Pay
  • Starting Pay: $18.00/hour

  • Shift: Day shift

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

  • Overtime: May be required based on business needs

What You’ll Do

On a typical day, you will:

  • Operate PIT equipment safely including powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers

  • Move and handle product by pushing, pulling, lifting, stacking, and transporting materials throughout the facility

  • Scan and track inventory using a handheld scanner with a high level of accuracy

  • Load and unload trailers for inbound and outbound shipments

  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following 7S standards

  • Support quality and receiving processes including inbound receiving activities aligned to supply chain quality expectations

What You Need to Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 year of warehouse experience

  • Trained and certified in safe powered industrial lift truck operation

  • Ability to work the scheduled shift and flex overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift up to 50 lbs., plus items of varying sizes and shapes

  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull

  • Comfort standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods

  • Strong hand/finger dexterity to handle tools and equipment

  • Ability to work in hot or cold warehouse temperatures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Positive attitude with a strong teamwork mindset

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
