The Inventory Warehouse Associate- Inbound assists the supply chain department under the direction of the Inventory Logistics Manager to manage other duties related to facilities supply and organization functions. This role primarily participates in inventory control, warehouse organization, and production kitting support with Vault support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Complete all administrative tasks related to properly receiving materials to ensure suppliers are paid on time, including but not limited to scanning, filing, and archiving packing slips, invoicing, and documenting credit purchases.
  • Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move, or hoist materials to proper departments or areas in preparation for receiving.
  • Unpacks, examines, and routes incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with the shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
  • Participate in daily inventory control management practices within the warehouse.
  • Optimize warehouse storage locations.
  • Support cGMP within the warehouse to maintain certification status.
  • Maintain 5S within the warehouse for cleanliness and organization.
  • Dispose of obsolete inventory in accordance with safety data sheets.
  • Support kitting activities when required.
  • Participate in monthly Field Days for inventory.
  • Communicate improvement ideas for inventory storage and process flow.
  • Cross-train between Manufacturing and Cultivation facilities on Vault, Warehouse, and Floriculture processes

  • 1+ years of experience in warehouse storage and inventory management for a manufacturing company.
  • Solid warehouse operations background.
  • Experience with forklift and pallet jack equipment.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with warehouse management systems and knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiar with and experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Education and Experience:

1-3 years of experience in warehouse and inventory control practices.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsible for helping others and providing on-the-job training or guidance.
