Inbound Operations Supervisor

Location: Brownsburg, IN

Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 12am - 12:30pm

Salary: $72-74k

Position Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Inbound Operations Supervisor to support a contract logistics operation in Brownsburg, IN. This role will oversee daily inbound warehouse activities including receiving, inventory accuracy, put-away, and team performance while ensuring strict compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), SOPs, and customer quality standards.

The ideal candidate will be a strong operational leader with pharmaceutical distribution experience, excellent communication skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook to support reporting, data analysis, and daily operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise daily inbound warehouse operations, including receiving, inspection, put-away, and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, SOPs, andquality requirements.
  • Manage and analyze operational data using Microsoft Excel, including reporting, KPI tracking, and performance analysis.
  • Utilize Microsoft Outlook for professional communication, scheduling, and coordination across teams.
  • Monitor key performance metrics including receiving accuracy, productivity, inventory accuracy, and service levels.
  • Partner with Quality, Inventory Control, Transportation, and Operations teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse associates to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
  • Investigate and resolve inbound discrepancies, damages, shortages, and inventory variances.
  • Support audits and ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of warehouse/distribution experience; healthcare, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
  • 2+ years of warehouse leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with GDP and GMP standards required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required (reporting, formulas, data analysis, KPI tracking).
  • Strong Microsoft Outlook skills required (professional communication and coordination).
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS - Blue Yonder)
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or medical device distribution.
  • Experience supporting customer or regulatory audits.
  • Lean/Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience.
