Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for export shipments document preparation such as B/L and AWB for each shipment
  • Inspect outbound and inbound shipments when needed, and to meet TSA requirements
  • Handle all outbound / inbound exceptional shipments from both internal and external customer inquiries, such as swapping label, locate the wanted shipments from detained shipments, shipment re-measurement etc.
  • Familiar with computers and be able to use internal and external operations systems such as SISP, ITSM, ICMS, STMS, COS, MCS, HHT, WHHT etc.
  • Ensure outbound / inbound shipments to be tendered meet cut-off time and airline / trucker/vendor ETD.
  • Monitor vendor shipment processing status in data-wise and in person at vendor warehouse when needed.
  • Work closely with the vehicle management team to coordinate with surface transportation to airports.
  • Advise gateway management of any delays, problems and/or questioned any irregularities discovered within assigned transactions.
  • Other warehouse duties assigned by gateway management.
  • Perform admin duties including maintaining lost log, filing claims to carriers, and preparing supporting documents
  • Preparation of all shipping documentation, and verification of all corresponding invoices, completeness and accuracy of all logistic documents
  • Provide support to gateway procedures and inspect packages
  • Monitor logistics systems and submit reports and exceptions to management
  • Data entry, create, keep and update records in systems
  • Resolve administrative problems by coordinating preparation of reports, analyzing data and identifying solutions
  • Handle customer requests or problem shipments through tracing system effectively, and in line with KEX trace quality and productivity requirements
  • Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning administrative projects


Qualifications:

  • High school degree, college degree preferred
  • 1 years related experience in the logistics/express/delivery industry
  • Ability to perform all tasks thoroughly and effectively in a tight time frame and high level of accuracy
  • Highly organized, able to prioritize and expedite to complete the job and meet all requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills is required
  • Team player, physical work may be required
  • Able to operate pallet jack is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese is highly preferred
