Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator supports data center operations by managing the receiving, storage, and shipment of materials in a large, fast-paced warehouse environment. This role handles customer queries and escalations, maintains accurate records and performance reports, and ensures orders and inventory are managed efficiently to meet key performance indicators and customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Support data center operations by coordinating the receiving, storing, and shipping of materials in a warehouse environment.
  • Handle customer queries and escalations throughout the life cycle of customer orders, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Manage a large volume of day-to-day reports related to customer orders, performance, and logistics activities.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with full-time employees by understanding their day-to-day business requirements and providing appropriate support.
  • Ensure customer and carrier performance reports are completed on a weekly and monthly basis, submitted on time, and contain accurate information.
  • Maintain accurate records, metrics, and documentation for logistics activities, and perform regular audits and assessments.
  • Identify, document, and implement opportunities for improvement in logistics processes and workflows.
  • Apply scheduling, planning, and coordination to support inbound and outbound product operations and meet service level expectations.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of all operating systems and tools used within the work area.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, external customers, and stakeholders to coordinate logistics activities and resolve issues.
  • Set up and use preferred internal systems, including EDI feeds or manual entries, to process and track orders accurately.
  • Ensure orders are placed and processed in a timely manner to meet KPI requirements and maintain proper inventory levels aligned with customer expectations.
  • Support inventory management activities such as picking, packing, and general labor tasks as needed.
  • Safely handle and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment where applicable.
  • Use RF scanners and other warehouse technologies to track inventory and material movement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall data center and warehouse operations.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in logistics, warehousing, or data center operations with a focus on receiving, storing, and shipping materials.
  • Customer service experience in logistics or planning, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and provide timely resolutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a strong emphasis on Excel for tracking and analysis.
  • Ability to use advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables (experience with these is a strong plus).
  • Ability to type and communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as picking, packing, and general labor in a warehouse environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54745.00 - $54745.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
