Arvato is seeking a proactive Inbound Team Lead to support daily warehouse operations and work closely with Supervisors. In this role, you’ll showcase your leadership skills by coordinating workflows, assigning and monitoring tasks for warehouse associates, tracking transactions, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the inbound department. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of daily performance while driving collaboration, accuracy, and efficiency within a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

YOUR TASKS

  • Be the expert in RF, Conveyor, and SAP systems
  • Be knowledgeable of all areas of operations and the links between them
  • Coordinate with various ops teams (Control tower, Inventory Control, Transportation, Inbound, Pick/Pack, Shipping, Service Delivery) to ensure daily adherence to performance targets is met
  • Monitor area activity and communicate all risks of missed targets to the Supervisors
  • Coordinate and prepare a recovery plan for at-risk targets with Supervision
  • Communicate exceptions identified by teams to the Account Team (ie, Inbound damage, missing part numbers)
  • Follow up on issues as needed
  • Work with the local team to identify areas of improvement and report daily efficiency
  • Monitor inventory levels of consumables (boxes, packing slips, etc.)  Create requisitions in SAP as needed
  • Oversee personnel in a professional manner
  • Investigate and repair exceptions (Over, Under, Missing, Damages etc)
  • Assigns cycle counts as needed
  • Be flexible with shift hours as needed 
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Demonstrated receive experience in a fast paced distribution center environment
  • Proven leadership experience
  • Problem solving, decision making, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Safety knowledge
