Job description

As an Inbound Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for offloading inbound vendor products while checking for the quality and accuracy of the product. Product will be received against purchase orders and staged on shelves, floors, or racking lines to support efficient picking practices. The position includes assisting in other departments as needed.  

Salary Overview:
The pay rate for this role starts at $19 per hour based on experience.

Hours:

The hours for this role are Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm.

Inbound Warehouse Associate Responsibilities include: 

  • Unload vendor trucks, receive products, and verify against purchase orders.
  • Inspect, stock, rotate, and restock inventory following FIFO and Dock-to-Stock practices.
  • Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
  • Perform cycle counts, inventory checks, and resolve bin/part variances.
  • Manage returns, trouble table items, and support quality control processes.
  • Assist with order picking and cross-train across warehouse functions.
  • Cross-train for other roles within the warehouse to maximize the efficiency of the team. 
  • Participate in physical inventory, daily huddles, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Adhere to Suburban Automotive Service’s DRIVEN values and align business practices to support the SAS mission and vision. 

Inbound Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Skills:  

  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.  
  • Consistent work history and attendance record.  
  • Reliable transportation.  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  
  • Forklift, parts picker, and powered pallet jack experience is preferred.  
  • Must meet company background check and drug screen requirements.

Inbound Warehouse Associate Working Conditions and Physical Demands include: 

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally.  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently.  
  • Must be okay with walking and standing for extended periods. Â
