The Receiving Associate is responsible for daily duties relating to inbound freight and materials.  Tasks include receiving, auditing, and handling of merchandise and materials.  The Receiver may operate pallet rider or forklift and perform many functions of a warehouse including palletizing, stacking, auditing and inventory transactions. 


  • High School diploma or GED
  • Job-related experience or job-related experience and higher education providing the technical skills associated with the position to establish comprehensive knowledge of warehouse systems. 
  • Requires experience in warehouse receiving and related inventory control 
  • Previous Forklift certification a plus
  • Proficient in the use of Windows based operating systems and MS Office 
  • Moderate knowledge of warehouse operations related to receiving 
  • Ability to achieve high-quality standards and accuracy of function
  • Working Knowledge of various warehouse types of equipment utilized; pallet rider, pallet jack, reach forklift 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Skilled and effective at working efficiently to meet difficult deadlines
  • Can execute difficult tasks per established procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor and track difficult tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Capable of being proactive by recognizing delays or issues and referring them to appropriate party for resolution 
  • Demonstrated ability to assist others in completing work assignments

  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using UPS, FedEx and DHL shipping systems 
  • Experience packing product for shipping (Cartons and pallets)  
  • Prior warehouse and inventory control experience necessary 
  • Stock room, order pulling (both automated and manual methods) experience 
  • Experience in cycle counting methods regarding inventory control
