Job description

Join a growing commercial waterproofing company specializing in high-profile projects including parking garages, hospitals, commercial buildings, podium decks, and other large-scale structures. We are seeking an experienced Superintendent / Lead Waterproofing Technician who thrives in the field, leads by example, and is committed to delivering quality workmanship safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise waterproofing crews on commercial construction projects.
  • Plan daily work activities and maintain project schedules.
  • Install and oversee application of commercial waterproofing systems, sealants, coatings, and joint systems.
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
  • Perform quality control inspections and maintain OSHA-compliant job sites.
  • Train, mentor, and develop field personnel while promoting a culture of safety and accountability.
  • Assist with project documentation, material management, and daily reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial waterproofing experience with leadership or superintendent responsibilities.
  • Experience on commercial projects such as parking garages, hospitals, high-rise buildings, podium decks, and concrete restoration projects.
  • Knowledge of waterproofing systems, concrete repair, expansion joints, sealants, and traffic coatings.
  • Experience with mold remediation and water restoration is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate multiple crews.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
