Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a โ€œScientist (Complex In Vitro Systems - Lung Biology)" based out in South San Francisco, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension & FT Conversion)
Rate: $55-$57/hr on W2

Job Summary
In this role, you will support development of advanced human lung in vitro models for translational safety and drug discovery applications. This hands-on lab role involves lung organoid culture, air-liquid interface (ALI) systems, lung-on-chip platforms, imaging assays, molecular characterization, and data analysis.

Requirements:
  • PhD in Bioengineering, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Toxicology, or related field
  • Experience with lung organoids, ALI cultures, or 3D lung models
  • Strong cell culture and assay development skills
  • Experience with imaging, qPCR, RNA-seq, or transcriptomics
  • Excellent experimental design and troubleshooting abilities
Preferred:
  • Lung biology/immunology background
  • Python or MATLAB experience
