In-store product sampling representatives often face challenges such as engaging reluctant shoppers, managing high-traffic periods, and maintaining product quality throughout their shift. In store product sampling is a marketing strategy where companies offer free samples of their products to shoppers within a retail environment. This approach allows customers to try new products firsthand, increasing the likelihood of purchase and brand loyalty. Product sampling events are commonly hosted by brands or retailers and are often staffed by trained representatives who provide information about the product and encourage customer feedback.

Brand Ambassadors - Product Sampling Demos

Everyday Dose Inc.

Norwalk, IA • On-site

$25 - $30/hr

Part-time

Posted 6 days ago

Job description

We're hiring Brand Ambassadors for in-store product sampling demos at Everyday Dose — a functional coffee brand (mushrooms, collagen, nootropics; "calm energy, no crash"). This is a part-time, weekend, field role — on-site at grocery, natural, club, and supplement retailers, not remote or in an office. Ambassadors travel to a different local store each weekend based on the schedule.

Set up and run live sampling stations — pour samples, start conversations with shoppers, explain what makes Everyday Dose different, and turn curious browsers into first-time buyers. Keep the demo station clean and on-brand, track samples poured and shopper interactions, and submit a quick photo recap after each event.

Requirements

What makes a great fit

Genuinely warm and outgoing — comfortable approaching strangers, representing a brand with energy, and nudging interest into a first purchase without being pushy.

Retail, sampling, serving, promo, brand-ambassador, or customer-service experience involving active shopper engagement is helpful but not required.

Must-haves / key experiences
  • Weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays are the core days)
  • Reliable transportation to local store locations
  • Able to commit to at least 4–6 weekends of events
  • Physically able to stand 4–5 hours and lift 20–30 lb boxes
  • Fluent in English
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • A smartphone for post-event photo recaps and scheduling communication, and space to store a small demo kit between weekend events
  • Willing to wear provided Everyday Dose apparel and complete training before the first event
  • Comfortable working solo and making drinks in a busy retail setting is helpful.

Benefits

  • Compensation: $25-30 USD/hour
  • Flexible weekend scheduling
