Come join our Psychiatric Nursing team at Firsthealth Regional Hospital. We are a 28-bed unit dedicated to serving patients with mental health &/or substance abuse diagnoses. Nurses play a crucial part in delivering mental health care services and making a difference in a patient's life choices. Nursing provides care along with a multidisciplinary team consisting of discharge planners, case managers, recreational therapist, Mental Health techs, CNAs and providers. We work with families, groups and community with the one goal of good patient outcomes and support through recovery.
Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required. 1 year of Med/Surg or Behavioral Services experience preferred. BCLS required.
BSN preferred. To develop and maintain a highly educated registered nursing staff to meet the present and future demands of the nursing profession, employees who begin employment with FirstHealth of the Carolinas on or after July 1, 2013, in a position that requires a registered nurse must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five (5) years of their employment date.
Qualifications
