Job description

Summary

Responsible for management of the Community Outreach Nursing Programs. Responsible for growth and development of the Community Outreach nursing initiative. Leads efforts to build relationships and partnerships with community not-for-profits to improve the health and inspire well-being in the communities Parkview Health serves.

Education

Must have a BSN from accredited program. Acceptable accrediting agencies are Commission on Collegiate Education in Nursing (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (CNEA). Evidence of progressive and continuous educational experiences. MS or active pursuit thereof encouraged.

License/Certification

Valid IN Registered Nurse required.

Experience

Must have five years progressive clinical or supervisory experience in health care field, preferably two to three years in a management position. Knowledge of and experience in community nursing outside the hospital setting required.

Other Qualifications

Must demonstrate community involvement and program development experience.
