For our Technical Support Department in Querétaro, Mexico.

Responsibilities

As an Application Engineer your role will involve providing consultation on sheet metal forming and Body in White (BiW) assembly processes within the automotive domain. You will leverage your knowledge and hands‑on experience with simulation software, including AutoForm, to support customers on technical matters while also driving strategic business development initiatives.

  • Hands‑on experience on AutoForm software to optimize stamping, die design, formability, and BiW assembly processes for automotive clients.
  • Deliver advanced training, workshops, and software demonstrations, both in‑person and online.
  • Collaborate with sales on customer needs, pre‑sales support, and strategic planning.
  • Contribute to software testing, installations, trade shows, blogs, and global knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Materials or Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8+ years in sheet metal forming, BiW assembly, FEA, die design, or related automotive fields.
  • Hands‑on AutoForm experience required; other simulation tools can be considered.
  • Experienced in Stamping processes, BiW assembly processes, hot forming, hemming, hydroforming, and quality assessments.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and business skills; CAD experience (e.g., CATIA, NX, GOM) preferred.
  • Willing to travel extensively in Mexico, with occasional international trips.
  • Motivated to excel in an innovative, small‑company environment.
