Job description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialized inspection and material testing across manufacturing processes and receiving inspection.
  • Conduct performance testing across manufacturing and engineering processes
  • May support inspection during all phases of production using knowledge of company products and process flow
  • Initiate and aide in the investigation of non-conformance issues
  • Verify non-conformance and produce all necessary measurements and specifications for the MRB board
  • Assist with training new operators on correct product terminology and measuring tools and techniques
  • Assist and mentor operators in exceptional quality and the importance of producing quality parts
  • Assist with and complete validations as needed
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and ideas to enhance processes
  • Assist with rework as needed
  • Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient knowledge of measuring equipment such as microscopes or comparators preferred
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints preferred
  • Able to perform and prioritize many tasks with a sense of urgency
  • Proficient computer, math, and reading skills
  • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time for up to 8-10 hours per day
  • Must be able to work with small parts for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
