JOB FAIR FRIDAY-MARCH 13TH, 9AM-3PM AT ANCHOR FABRICATION

The Quality Technician will ensure that final product delivered to our customers is compliant to established requirements. The Quality Technician will monitor that the Quality Inspection activities performed by Quality inspectors and Operators such as 1st Piece, In-Process Inspection, and Final Inspection at the Punches, Brakes, Jamb cell, and HRI assemblies, and the Final Inspection at all assembly areas (78”, Conventional, NGP, and HRI are performed according to requirements.

The Quality Technician is responsible for monitoring the Dock Audit activities of the product prior to shipping. All assembly walk-throughs will also be subject to a Dock Audit before shipping to Customers to ensure that the product is according to specifications and the adhesive has cured.

  • Mechanically adept
  • Blueprint reading skills (basic GD&T knowledge)
  • Attention to detail.
  • Able to prioritize and work under a schedule to meet demand.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Computer literate
  • Able to use measuring instruments and check gauges
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications.
  • Knowledge of shop practices and operations
  • Ability to properly record and maintain inspection results
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, along with:
  • Familiar with a metal fabrication and assembly environment, preferably familiar with metal stamping, brake press, punching, and metal cutting, welding, and assembly environment.
  • Previous Quality Inspection experience is preferred.
  • Familiar with surface plate measuring and the use of calipers.
  • Must have one (1) year of experience as a Quality Inspector I
