Client: Medical Device Manufacturing Company
Duration: 06 Months Contract Role
Location: Bartlett, TN 38133
Shift: 1st Shift (Mon-Fri / 6:00am-2:30pm)
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Job Description:
Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Two (2) year Technical Degree is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality control regulated industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certifications:
    • ASQ Certification (preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Knowledge and experience operating the following inspection tools:
      • Caliper
      • Micrometer
      • Optical Comparator
      • CMM
      • Pin Gages
      • Microscope
    • Knowledge and experience operating advanced measurement systems:
      • Vision System
      • SmartScope
    • Basic computer skills required to perform job duties.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform incoming or first article inspections.
  • Create supporting records and reports.
  • Coordinate, perform, and report on inspections of materials, parts, and products to ensure compliance with Spiration Inc. requirements.
  • Understand lot sampling per ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008.
  • Perform final/sterile release of products and in-process inspections.
  • Conduct label inspections and DHR final reviews.
  • Execute specified functional inspection tests.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Assist co-workers with training on quality standards and requirements.
  • Communicate inspection information to Operations and Quality personnel.
  • Initiate NCRs (non-conforming reports) when quality standards are not met and assist in MRB activities.
  • Assist Quality Engineers with data-gathering activities to support validations and/or studies.
  • Coach operations staff on quality requirements.
  • Operate advanced measurement systems.
  • Maintain acceptable standards for attendance and work overtime as needed.
  • Perform all other essential related duties as required.
