Job description

Connect Staffing is hiring a Quality Control Technician for a trailer manufacturing facility in Cypress, CA. This is a temp-to-hire position paying $22.00/hr on a Monday–Friday day shift with occasional Saturday availability. In this role, you will inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished trailer products, then document defects and compile quality reports. This facility builds and modifies trailers for electrical generators, giving you consistent, specialized manufacturing work with about 1 hour of overtime per week.
Pay: $22.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:45 PM; Saturday availability when needed
Location: Cypress, CA
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Overtime: Weekly OT required (~1 hr/wk)
Responsibilities
• Inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished trailer products using quality inspection tools and measuring equipment including tape measures.
• Record defects and nonconformances in the defect log to support process improvement.
• Collate test data and draft quality reports for internal review.
• Verify that parts and assemblies meet dimensional and workmanship specifications.
• Communicate inspection findings to production team members and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation in accordance with quality standards.
Minimum Requirements
• 1+ year of experience as a quality inspector or quality technician in a manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience inspecting fabricated metal assemblies, trailers, or heavy equipment.
• Familiarity with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) or blueprint reading.
• Experience using calipers, gauges, or other precision measurement tools in addition to tape measures.
• Proficiency with quality management systems or defect-tracking software.
• Background in industries such as trailer manufacturing, electrical equipment, transportation equipment, or heavy fabrication.
