About the Role
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/ FUNCTIONS
  1. Performs visual inspection.
  2. Records product information into ERP operating system and other applications.
  3. Uses microscopes and other visual aids to inspect.
  4. Records asset numbers, date, pass/fail, and inspector stamp on paperwork/ applications
  5. Complies with ISO and IPC standards of inspection.
  6. Helps others with all quality inspection needs.
  7. Follows 5S procedures.
  8. Notifies supervisor if there is an issue or likely to be an issue.
  9. Other quality job-related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/ KSA
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to understand and determine product quality.
  • Ability to sit at a table/ desk for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001, IPC 600, IPC 610, and J-STD preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly/part drawings.
  • Familiar with company and industry quality standards and processes.
  • Familiar with calibration and EDS standards
  • Ability to read and understand customer purchase orders
WORKING CONDITIONS

Typical working conditions at Kitron are indoors, safe, well lit, temperature controlled, low exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors, clean and sanitary conditions with average light industrial noise. Production areas have machinery with moving parts. Static dissipative smock, and shoes are required. Offices with locking doors, meeting rooms, and common printing areas are well lit, clean, low noise, and temperature controlled with no exposure to noxious fumes or offensive odors.
