Job Description:
We are seeking a Process Inspector Level C to support operations at our state-of-the-art Advanced Manufacturing Facility (AMF) in Huntsville, AL. This facility specializes in inert manufacturing for the fabrication and assembly of composite rocket motor hardware.

Essential Functions:
Use standard measuring equipment and techniques to inspect products, processes, and procured items to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Develop and execute audit plans to ensure processes are being followed, equipment is properly maintained and calibrated, and materials meet all requirements, including shelf life.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure products meet specifications and schedule commitments.
Work with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers to troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions.
Evaluate similar processes across the shop and establish standardized inspection methods and criteria to minimize errors, mistake-proof processes, and define standard work.
Assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify manufacturing processes; collect data and support research activities, using judgment to identify and recommend solutions where issues may be difficult to detect or costly to resolve.
Troubleshoot processes and identify, modify, or escalate out-of-control processes and production escapes.
Coordinate with maintenance, supervision, and operations personnel in the setup and calibration of equipment and tooling. Ensure adherence to calibration processes and conduct periodic audits of facility areas.
Participate in preventative maintenance activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Requires fully proficient job knowledge and skills. Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or a post-secondary/Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Must be able to perform confined space entry.

Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in a quality-related role within manufacturing.
Knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing systems (GD&T).
Understanding of AS9100 and related quality management standards.
