The Role:
The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, validating, and executing inspection programs using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precision components meet engineering specifications and quality standards. This role supports manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams in a fast-paced aerospace/industrial environment.
  • Develop and optimize CMM programs (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) for complex components
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
  • Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections
  • Analyze inspection data and generate detailed reports
  • Troubleshoot measurement issues and improve inspection processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns
  • Maintain calibration and proper functioning of CMM equipment
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives

An ambitious individual who has proven experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and ideally experience in blueprint interpretation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing of metallic materials.
