We're looking for a Equipment Inspector. The work location for this position is Syracuse, NY, and is considered a fully remote role.
Responsibilities
The Opportunity:
The Field Inspector primary role will be to perform inspection for all heavy equipment and trucks. Core responsibilities will be to use the iInspector application to collect information and capture quality images for various equipment and inspection types. The position requires proficient equipment operator experience, comprehensive understanding of common and specialized equipment types, and the ability to professionally communicate with sales staff and external customers for effective inspection processing. Inspectors will have daily interaction with Inspection Liaisons & other regional inspectors to prioritize workflow in a team environment. Additional responsibilities involve acting as a lead onsite coordinator for large remote sales and acting as a mentor for junior-level inspectors.
In this role you'll:
  • Use iInspector application to complete inspections for various equipment & inspection product types
  • Coordinate and/or perform tasks to prepare equipment for inspection
  • Create strategic routes that drive overall efficiency for remote inspections
  • Support auction day activities
  • Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.

Here's what you bring:
  • High school diploma required. College degree preferred
  • Accreditations to support industry specific experience are a plus
  • 3 -5 Years of experience in related equipment industry environment

This job will require you to:
  • Navigate unique equipment types to select proper inspection checklist that drive content accuracy
  • Make equipment condition assessments and provide thorough information to best describe
  • Action inspection type upgrades or downgrades to align with equipment condition when warranted
  • Communicate and resolve equipment identification and readiness issues2
  • Navigate and resolve technical concerns related to iInspector app and inspection content processing
