Modemetric Inc.

San Francisco, CA • On-site

Full-time

Re-posted 17 days ago

Job description

Company Description
Modemetric is on a path to disrupt Business Intelligence. Our BI platform, Lantern, radically changes the speed, flexibility and power of business-critical data mapping, extraction and visualization. Lantern deploys in days, not months on any legacy ERP or data warehouse and uses its unique meta data-driven architecture to connect disparate data sources and create Lantern reports and dashboards that are fast, flexible and actionable. The result: a full view of the enterprise and business insights at the speed of light - Lantern's light. Modemetric is a well-funded startup with over 150 employees and offices in San Francisco, CA and Lahore, Pakistan
Job Description
Modemetric is accelerating and expanding its introduction of its flagship BI platform, Lantern, into the US market.
We are looking for a BI seller: a hunter who understands how to sell ERP software - preferably BI - and is excited to sell an innovative next-gen platform.
Important is the ability to understand and articulate our prospects' unique use cases and work with the Modemetric customer success team to provide answers and solutions that will address their needs and bring Lantern into their organizations. You will work closely with our marketing team to action new opportunities, leverage your own contacts and attend events to expand our pipeline.
In return, you will be on the ground floor of what we believe is the next big thing in BI - a great product with substantial opportunity within a very large market.
This role requires frequent travel (50%) and can be located anywhere on the West Coast near a major business hub and airport.
Qualifications
  • A closer with at least 5 years experience successfully selling ERP or BI solutions - preferably platform BI - especially with well-known vendors like Oracle, SAP, Tableau, Qlik, Birst and Cognos
  • Is a solution seller who can both hunt and penetrate accounts, building relationships with our prospects along the way
  • A great listener and relationship builder, capable of grasping and articulating our prospect's unique business intelligence needs and use cases
  • Is comfortable cold-calling and networking to generate leads. Prior experience in demand generation is a plus
  • Self-starter, who's able to self-motivate and work effectively remotely with other team members. Comfortable with the challenge of getting initial customers in the US market
  • Enjoys the energy of an early stage start up, where we are still building process, team and tools to scale the sales effort
  • West Coast location, near major airport
