Job description

Job Summary
Position: Packaging Operator I
Schedule: 3rd Shift - Monday - Thursday - 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends)
Base Rate: $14.50/Hour ($1 shift differential)
Packaging a variety of products according to customer specifications.
Essential Job Functions *
  • Reviews Work Orders to determine packaging requirements.
  • Visually inspects product for defects and transfers defective items to the appropriate location.
  • Manual weighing and counting of product.
  • Loads product into packaging machines, Monitors machines for proper function.
  • Unloads and visually inspects packaged product to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Places packaged product into boxes. Applies identification labels to boxes.
  • Accurately completes departmental paperwork.
