Job description

Production Operator

Pay Rate: $27.97 per hour  

Shift & Working Hours: 4:45 AM to 5:15 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed. 

Sign on Bonus: $1500 - $250 paid after 30 days of employment. $500 paid after 6 months of employment. $750 paid after 12 months of employment. 

Role Focus:

This role combines two key responsibilities: operating the Warby Trial system during scheduled trials and serving as an Ops Tech to support daily operations. The Warby Trial Operator ensures safe and efficient research and development trials by working closely with R&D and technical teams, maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting issues. Outside of trials, the Ops Tech provides production support, conducts equipment maintenance, assists in training, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives.    

In this role as a Sybil Operator, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product. Join our team to become part of a mem

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others  
  • Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly 
  • Able to multi-task and keep up with production demands in a fast-paced environment  
  • Ensures all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production process 
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area 
  • Collaborates and follows the instructions of Leads and Management to accomplish daily work assignments 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

  • 18 years or older  
  • 1+ year of work experience (manufacturing preferred)  
  • Basic computer and math skills  
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English  
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records  
  • Ability to learn equipment operation, testing, and sanitation processes  
  • Willingness to troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement efforts  
  • Strong communication skills to work with production, R&D, and Engineering  
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and reliability 

 Experience:  

  • 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience preferred  
  • Experience in high-speed or highly automated environments is a plus  
  • Experience with equipment operation, troubleshooting, or maintenance preferred  
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred 

Physical Requirements for production positions regularly include: 

  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs  
  • Frequent movement (walking, standing, bending, lifting, etc.)  
  • Work in PPE and varying environments (hot, cold, dusty, chemical exposure)  
  • Work scheduled shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
