Job description
We are seeking a Security Guard to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will perform security related checks at assigned premises.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents in a calm, problem solving manner
- Conduct regular internal patrols
- Report any facility issues related to security, health and safety
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess or able to obtain a VA DCJS Security Registration
- Possess a high school diploma/GED of higher
- Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Strong attention to detail
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to drug screen, criminal and financial background checks
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 lbs., climb stairs and ramps
- Previous experience in security a plus
