Job description

School of Rock is a nationwide after-school music program for students age 3-adult.  We teach guitar, bass, drums, piano/keys, and vocals.  We emphasize playing as part of a group in addition to small group and individual private lessons.  We have locations in Ankeny, West Des Moines, and Marion, IA.
We're looking for passionate musicians with a high level of proficiency in the instruments we teach here at the school to share their knowledge with our students.  If you have education in music and/or gigging experience, you likely will have the skills we need here at the school.
Flexible hours - we're open evenings Mon-Thurs from 2-9pm, and Sat from 10-4pm.  You can choose the days/times you want to teach and we'll fill your time with students! 
We have the studio and educational resources for you to use.  You are welcome to bring your own resources as well.  We schedule your students and collect the tuition.  All you need to do is come in ready to give awesome lessons to inspire and educate our students!
Starting pay is $15-17/hr depending on proficiency, education, gigging experience, and number of instruments you're able to teach.
