Company Description Arabesque Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles was founded by award-winning musicians who believe in the transformative joy of music. The conservatory’s mission is to bring music into the lives of children and adults through innovative, engaging approaches to learning. Instructors hold degrees from prestigious institutions worldwide and are dedicated to supporting students’ growth in music and beyond. Arabesque serves the greater Los Angeles area and offers in-home, in-studio, online, and group lessons, as well as competition and audition preparation. Students from around the world can access the conservatory’s online programs.
Role Description The Music Instructor will provide high-quality music education to students of varying ages and skill levels in an on-site setting located in Fontana, CA. This full-time role includes planning and delivering individualized and group lessons, focusing on technique, musicality, and progress tracking. The instructor will prepare students for recitals, competitions, and auditions, and offer regular feedback to support their development. Responsibilities also include creating lesson plans, maintaining student records, collaborating with other instructors, and contributing to a positive, encouraging learning environment. The Music Instructor will uphold the conservatory’s standards of excellence and help foster enthusiasm and commitment to music in each student.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Music Theory and general Music knowledge, with the ability to explain concepts clearly to learners of different ages.
  • Demonstrated experience in Music Performance and Piano, including confident performance skills and the ability to model proper technique.
  • Background in Music Education, with experience designing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
  • Formal training in music (bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or related field preferred) and experience teaching in private or group settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient, encouraging, and inclusive teaching approach.
  • Ability to work full time on-site in Fontana, CA, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and administration.
  • Experience preparing students for performances, competitions, and auditions is highly beneficial.
