Job description

Position Overview UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital is seeking Medical Technologists/Clinical Laboratory Technologists and Senior Medical Technologists. Your primary responsibility will be to perform routine and specialized tests in assigned laboratory sections, monitor laboratory processes, and verify results. You will work under limited supervision and, in the supervisor's absence, direct daily activities of your section according to UHS Hospitals' Laboratory and Departmental Policies and Procedures, NYSDOH, CDC, and UHSH Infection Control Policies and Procedures. Qualifications Minimum required: Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory technology or equivalent. Preferred: One (1) year experience working in a clinical laboratory. License/Certification โ€“ Minimum required: NYS Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist. Preferred: ASCP Specialty Certification. Compensation & Benefits Candidates may be eligible for a signโ€on bonus of up to $15,000 and relocation assistance for qualifying candidates. The base pay range for a fullโ€time position is $60,175.00 to $102,000.00, depending on experience. This position also offers competitive benefits, PTO accrual, and retirement plans with employer match. Weekly hours are 40 and the compensation per hour ranges from $27.30 to $42.47.
